Disinfection skills for infectious-disease control
In 2021 VPMA and the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology held online classes (content following Ministry of Health guidance) for members and for other people and organisations working in the field.
People who completed a class received an Association certificate of course completion for “Disinfection skills for infectious-disease control”. It is a document issued by the Association. It is not a practising licence.

A professional-quality programme for businesses
Sample text – needs the Association’s confirmationOne business in the sector has said it is part of a VPMA “professional quality programme”, but the Association has not published the criteria or the list of businesses that meet them. A possible model, for the Association to confirm, follows QualityPro (NPMA) and BPCA member criteria:
- Legal standing, liability insurance, and products that still have a valid registration number.
- A share of technicians who have been trained (with the owner’s confirmation or an Association certificate of course completion) and who join regular refreshers.
- A service process, safety, care for the environment, and a way to handle complaints.
- A periodic review, and a published list.
