About the Vietnam Pest Management Association
Vietnam Pest Management Association (VPMA) connects organisations and individuals who voluntarily join household and public-health pest management.
About VPMA
Hội Phòng trừ côn trùng Việt Nam (abbreviation PTCTVN; English name: Vietnam Pest Management Association – VPMA) was permitted to be established by the Ministry of Home Affairs under Decision No. 829/QĐ-BNV of 17 September 2019.
The Association connects individuals and organisations who voluntarily work in household and public-health pest management (control of harmful organisms) in Vietnam. The term II congress (2025–2030) was held with the agreement of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Health.

The term II Executive Committee has 17 members. The Standing Committee has 5 members: Chairman Tran Chi Cuong, Vice-Chairmen Tran Vu Phong and Phan Hung, and members Nguyen Duc Vinh and Luong Thi Hang.

FAOPMA announced Vietnam as a new national member (bulletin of 15 May 2026).

International links – FAOPMA
VPMA is a national member of FAOPMA (Federation of Asian and Oceania Pest Managers’ Associations), the regional federation of pest-management associations, founded in 1987. FAOPMA’s ExCo Update of 15 May 2026 announced Vietnam, Nepal and APJIPMI (Indonesia) as new national members.
Membership opens the FAOPMA Pest Summit, training programmes, standards and business links in the region.
