Official Letter No. 2712/UBND-VHXH of 2 October 2026 of the Nam Gia Nghia Ward People’s Committee (Lam Dong province), signed by Vice Chairman Le Van Thinh, implements Official Letter No. 7801/SYT-NVY of 30 September 2026 of the Department of Health on stronger prevention of dengue and hand, foot and mouth disease.
Main points
- Ward health station: urgently investigate and define the scope and risk factors; treat outbreak sites immediately; check and assess results after treatment and do not let outbreaks drag on; ensure staff, medicines, supplies, insecticides and equipment.
- Review every residential area, school, childcare group and household with cases; identify areas with high or rising case numbers and active outbreak sites. Private health facilities report cases through the system under Circular 15/2026/TT-BYT of 17 May 2026.
- Schools and childcare groups: clean classrooms, toys and touch surfaces; collect waste, remove items that hold water and check water containers to prevent larvae. Residential groups encourage households to remove mosquito breeding sites.
- The Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Office advises on extra funding; the ward’s General Services Centre tells residents not to self-treat at home when they have a fever. The letter recalls the ward’s Official Letter 2284/UBND-VHXH of 3 September 2026.
