Needs the Association’s confirmation. PestEx/BPCA reported on 29 July 2026 that PestAware Summit 2027 will be held at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, on 17 March 2027, with four streams aimed mainly at clients and pest-risk decision-makers, and announced eight PPC Live On Tour dates for 2027. This is BPCA’s calendar, not VPMA’s.
Main points
- PestAware Summit is aimed at environmental-health, housing, food-safety, hospitality–hygiene and conservation audiences; four streams: public health and communities; hospitality and hygiene; food security and resilience; conservation and biodiversity. Venue: East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, 17 March 2027.
- BPCA chief executive Rosina Robson said the goal is to take the case for professional pest management to customers and related sectors; the article cites an estimate that professional pest management prevents about £1.9 billion in direct costs each year in the UK.
- PPC Live On Tour replaces one large trade show: eight dates in Glasgow (20 January), Milton Keynes (10 February), Birmingham (21 April), Cardiff (19 May), Bath (22 September), Belfast (13 October), Bromley (17 November) and Manchester (8 December) 2027; free for pest professionals, with CPD; registration expected to open in autumn 2026.
- Needs the Association’s confirmation: the item is for members to note an international industry calendar. It does not infer that VPMA is organising or sending a delegation to Nottingham or the PPC Live venues.
