Needs the Association’s confirmation. NPMA (US), in partnership with Ecovar, announced that the programme for PestWorld East 2027 is available. The event takes place on 2–3 February 2027 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (UAE) for pest management professionals from the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and beyond, with two days of education, networking and industry collaboration.
Main points
- According to NPMA, PestWorld East offers insights on legal, technical, business and customer topics; the 2027 programme has expert-led sessions on emerging technologies, service strategies, sustainability and the changing needs of the industry.
- Topics listed include using AI to forecast service and optimise the business; modern fly control for residential and commercial accounts (Dinesh Ramachandran, Rentokil Boecker, UAE); a sustainable service model with smarter tools and emerging technology; and moving from reactive to proactive pest management (Dr Raja Mahendran, international pest business consultant, Australia).
- A session on emerging health risks of bed bugs and German cockroaches is presented by Dr Christopher Hayes (North Carolina State University, US).
- NPMA says the programme brings together industry leaders and experts from many markets, so attendees can learn from international experience and apply it to their own businesses.
VPMA’s note
This regional event is closer to Asia than the US conferences. Interested members can follow the NPMA website for registration details. Whether the Association sends a delegation or recommends members to attend needs the Association’s confirmation.
