Needs the Association’s confirmation. The US National Pest Management Association (NPMA) announced on 5 October 2026 that the Pest Management Foundation has opened its call for applications for the 2026–2027 scholarships. Applications are due by 30 November 2026, and recipients will be announced in mid-January 2027.
Main points
- The list includes about 30 scholarships named after the companies, families or individuals who fund them, for example scholarships from Arrow Exterminators, Plunkett’s Pest Control, Sprague Pest Solutions and Versacor Enterprises, the “NPMA Bright Futures” scholarship funded by NPMA itself, and the “Scholarship for Advancing Pest Management” funded by the Foundation.
- Some are given by local associations, such as the New Jersey Pest Management Association scholarship; others target particular groups, such as the scholarship for young pest management professionals (Phil Gregory) or the one for future accountants in pest management (PCO Bookkeepers & M&A Specialists).
- The “Wayne Golden Leadership in Action” scholarship has several donors: Neighborly Pest Management, Rollins Inc., Holiday Termite & Pest Control, Payne Pest Management, the Connecticut Pest Control Association, Rid-A-Bug Exterminating Co. and Latarsha Horne.
- Needs the Association’s confirmation. The model of scholarships funded and named by member companies could be useful if VPMA wants to support workers’ children or students of entomology and preventive health; any use needs the Association’s confirmation.
